    Jotne wins contracts for Assembly of GasTurbine Generator and Driver Sets

 
Jotne  have recently signed two contract with Dresser-Rand for the assembly of three Generator Sets and two GT Driver Sets. The work will be carried out at the Jotne facilities in Halden for delivery autumn/winter 2011/2012.
 
The deliveries will be to Dresser-Rand`s projects Big Foot in the Gulf of Mexico where Chevron is the end client and to Brunei Shell Petroleum Company`s Sendirian Berhad Project.
The contracts are important for Jotne forming a sound basis for similar future projects at our workshops in Halden. Jotne have previously assembled similar type of GT Drivers and Generator Sets for Dresser-Rand
 
Jotne is located in Oslo with engineering and project companies and with manufacturing/yard facilities in Østfold. Jotne Mekaniske Verksteder is the largest mechanical workshop in Østfold with a total of about 100 employees.
 
Dresser-Rand is amongst the world’s largest companies for the supply of energy systems which includes gas turbines, compressors and generators. Dresser-Rand is located with offices in Kongsberg and workshop/test facilities in Drammen.
